CEFS is Hiring: Extension Associate – 10% Campaign Program Coordinator
This position is collaboration between the Center for Environmental Farming Systems (CEFS) and Cooperative Extension and is based in the North Carolina A&T State University Cooperative Extension Program.
CEFS was established in 1994 as a partnership between North Carolina State University, North Carolina A&T State University, and the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to serve as a center dedicated to sustainable agriculture research, extension, and education.
The 10% Campaign was developed under the umbrella of CEFS with the goal being to encourage consumers to commit 10 percent of their existing food dollars to support local food producers, related businesses and communities.
The 10% Campaign: promotes North Carolina’s farmers, foods, communities and businesses; educates consumers, decision-makers and the media; collaborates with the many influential organizations/initiatives already in the field, amongst other things.
