The PRODUCTION FARMER will produce fresh, organic vegetables to serve in the school cafeterias. The production farmer is responsible for planting, tending to, harvesting, washing, weighing, and packaging the produce for the cafeteria. The farmer must also keep track of production amounts and invoice Child Nutrition Program (CNP) on a monthly basis for produce provided to CNP. Lastly, the production farmer will partner with the campus staff to plan events such as farm lessons, farm club, and farmer’s markets.
