Organic Landscape Gardener (Oregon Coast)
Part-time work available with a small, strictly organic niche landscaping company. We operate primarily between Neskowin and Pacific City in private ornamental gardens. This position entails responsibility for quality garden care and maintenance, working in a team of 2-3 landscape professionals. Work is primarily hand weeding, pruning, raking and spreading mulch in the spring and fall. There is very minimal lawn care and some small tree work. This is strenuous labor in all weather conditions. Candidate needs to have strong interest and ideally some experience in: horticulture, organic landscape methodology, and/or fine gardening and be willing to learn our methods. We are busiest  March through June and September through November and are hiring immediately for spring. Compensation ranges from $12 to $16 per hour depending on experience and performance.
Required skills:
– Ability to communicate clearly

– Ability to arrive on time, professional and ready to work
– Stamina to enjoy physical labor for 6-8 hours a day in all conditions
– Willingness to work in all weather
– Available weekdays
