Elli Sparks and Rob Staropoli started Abundance Farm several years ago while living in downtown Richmond, Virginia. Packing up kids, ducks, chickens, and tools, they moved to Keysville, Virginia and expanded their farm from ¼ acre to 111 acres. Guernsey dairy cows, British White beef cattle, and American Guinea Hogs joined the menagerie of farm animals. Rotating through the woodlands and pastures, these animals help build top soil and sequester carbon.
