Sales and Distribution Coordinator

Brookford Farm is seeking a full time Sales and Distribution Coordinator who has a passion for local organic food, and the sales skills needed to grow sales in New Hampshire and southern New England.

Brookford Farm is in persistent pursuit of a high quality, diversified product line to match its grass based diversified organic farm:

  • Dairy–yogurt, kefir, buttermilk, milk, butter, quark
  • Cheese–Raw Cheddar, Raw Blue, Camembert, Brie, Feta
  • Meats–Grass Fed Beef and Veal, Pasture Raised Pork and Chicken
  • Organic Vegetables–Year round supply, seasonal variations
  • Creative Krauts–Lacto-fermented vegetables inspired by european and korean traditions

Sales and Distribution Coordinator  Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Sales software specifically designed for farms to maintain and grow existing accounts.
  • Search on route for new accounts.
  • Inform Drivers of route changes and manage routes for profitability.
  • Maintain accurate inventory in sales software.
  • Stage orders preparing for delivery.
  • Work up to 10 hrs each week on the different areas of the farm to deepen relationships with the people, the products and the community.
  • Contribute to Brookford Farm Social Media accounts to help build a bridge between the farm and the community
  • Assist with public outreach for events

Requirements:

  • Be self-motivated, highly organized and quick to solve problems.
  • Be dynamic with customers, excellent communication skills.
  • Have a valid driver license and reliable transportation.
  • Have a passion for grass-based and organic farming.
  • Have a desire to strengthen regional food systems.
  • Geographical understanding of New Hampshire and Greater Boston.

Greater Boston Sales Rep

Brookford Farm is seeking a full time Greater Boston Sales Representative who has a passion for local organic food, and the sales skills needed to grow sales in the Greater Boston area.

Brookford Farm is in persistent pursuit of a high quality, diversified product line to match its grass based diversified organic farm:

  • Dairy–yogurt, kefir, buttermilk, milk, butter, quark
  • Cheese–Raw Cheddar, Raw Blue, Camembert, Brie, Feta
  • Meats–Grass Fed Beef and Veal, Pasture Raised Pork and Chicken
  • Organic Vegetables–Year round supply, seasonal variations

Sales Forager Responsibilities:

  • Search out and establish relationships with new restaurants and retail establishments who will buy our food regularly.
  • Generate weekly orders from accumulated account list
  • Search out potential CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) opportunities with businesses and places where many people can pick up at one location
  • Keep a constant communication with the farm staff to determine what is available to sell.
