The Deli down stairs has been providing Victoria park village with a friendly, locally minded service for over 7 years. We’re looking to expand our team.

We have four positions available;

–          Two positions for experienced foodies.

Looking for Food as a career
Kitchen / Cooking / Preperation experience a must
Delicatessen savvy; Good Cheese, Wine & Craft beers knowledge
Coffee experience a must

 –          Two shop assistants with Coffee making experience vital.

Food and hospitality experience preferable.
 Hours and salary vary and can be discussed upon application

 Ideally employees would be interested in food as a career. We’ve got a great community of locally run shop owners and customers who want the area to remain this way. Our philosophy is offering the highest quality products with the lowest impact to the planet. We source products that are sustainable and ethical. All of our packaging and energy is sourced from renewable organisations. We make food and salads in house for hot and cold lunches. Eat in and take away. We have a terrace area with seating inside and out. Hot and cold drinks are available.

Rancho Mastatal Sustainable Education Center hiring Interns

Costa Rica

Nestled against the virgin rainforest of La Cangreja National Park, Rancho Mastatal Sustainable Education Center has been teaching, exploring, and promoting techniques of living harmoniously in the landscape for 12 years. Renowned for it’s natural building and delicious culinary spreads of fresh homemade food, the Ranch offers profound, innovative and intensive internships throughout the year.  Interns will experience a rural Costa Rican community, delight in 325 acres of pristine forests and waterfalls, and participate in a working permaculture farm.

Currently we are seeking individuals and couples for our:

Homesteading and Agroforestry Internship
August 1st through December 31st

Sustainable Living and Permaculture Internship

January 11th through July 11th

Animal Husbandry and Goat Caretaking Internship

Flexible dates, minimum 3 month commitment
